Careers

If caregiving is your calling, consider joining the June Cares team as a caregiver. June Cares operates 1-2 bed Adult Family Homes (AFHs) on the West Side of Green Bay. Our caregivers provide supportive care to adults with a mental or physical disability. Caregivers help the adults with everyday living tasks, like hygiene, grooming, dressing, and bathing. Additionally, June Cares assists with housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to work, church, shopping, doctor appointments, family gatherings, and other destinations. June Cares also administers medication, including diabetes and insulin assistance.

Qualities of a Caregiver

The ideal caregiver for June Cares is someone with compassion, patience, excellent communication skills, and a desire to create a positive environment for the adults in their care. Other characteristics that are important are dependability, flexibility, and a sense of humor.

Caregivers with 1-2 years of experience and medication-administration training are encouraged to apply. Contact us to learn more about careers with June Cares, an AFH in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
